Geschütze Werkstätten: Siebdruck & Stick

Sheltered workshops: screen printing & embroidery

Our regional partner: GWS Salzburg

It's the distinctive design that makes our textiles truly jonboy products. And for this important step, we've found a partner right in the region: the Geschützte Werkstätten Salzburg (Protected Workshops Salzburg) . Here, our garments are finished with screen printing and embroidery with meticulous attention to detail.

Why screen printing and embroidery?

Our goal is to create garments that will last and bring you joy for as long as possible. This begins with the selection of high-quality raw materials , continues with the careful processing of the textile, and ends with the finishing with durable screen printing and embroidery .

Screen printing and embroidery: long-lasting results

Screen printing is a high-quality printing process that first involves creating a frame that serves as a stencil for printing motifs. Using the frame and a squeegee, the ink is applied directly to the fabric. This printing method is particularly well-suited for bold colors, clean lines, and long-lasting designs —ideal for our jonboy motifs.

Embroidery is considered one of the highest quality and most durable finishing techniques . Embroidered motifs are particularly resistant to frequent washing and wear.

GWS ’s entire textile production is based on the GOTS standard and meets the highest ecological and social requirements .
